Approved Centres

Sycamore Unit is located within the grounds of Connolly Hospital and occupies a single-story building.

The Ashlin Centre provides acute care and treatment for North Dublin Mental Health Services (NDMHS). It is located in the grounds of Beaumont Hospital.

St Ita’s Ward is a single storey building within the extensive campus of St Brigid’s Hospital, in Ardee.

The Cluain Lir Care Centre is part of Midland Louth Meath Community Health Organisation (CHO). It is located on the grounds of St. Mary’s Care Centre, across the road from the Regional Hospital Mullingar. 

The Maryborough Centre is part of St. Fintan’s Hospital, Portlaoise. It provides services for the Laois/Offaly area.

Drogheda Department of Psychiatry is a purpose–built acute mental health unit, which opened in 2016.

The Department of Psychiatry (DOP), Midland Regional Hospital, Portlaoise, is the acute psychiatric unit for the Laois/Offaly Mental Health Services. 

St. Loman’s, located in Mullingar, comprises of two units – the Admission Unit and St. Enda’s Unit.

Lakeview Unit is located within Naas General Hospital and caters for all acute adult mental health admissions from the Kildare and West Wicklow regions.

The Jonathan Swift Clinic is located within the St. James’s Hospital campus.
