The National Mental Health Services Collaborative Symposium 2012 took place on Tuesday 7th February 2012 in the Burlington Hotel, Dublin 4. The purpose of this Symposium was to present results, share learning and develop plans to sustain and/or spread improvements relating to individual care planning and recovery, achieved through the National Mental Health Services Collaborative Project. Symposium Programme. The Mental Health Commission also carried out a national survey of service users' experiences of inpatient mental health services in 2011, in collaboration with the Irish Society for Quality and Safety in Healthcare. The survey was entitled "Your Views of Mental Health Inpatient Services". The Minister for the State with responsibility for Disability, Equality, Older People, and Mental Health, Kathleen Lynch TD, officially launched the findings of the survey at the Symposium.
